Character Report-Servant
- My character, the servant, wants to warn
Macbeth of the approaching ten thousand soldiers coming to attack Macbeth
and his castle
- The servant’s motivation for doing what
he does is partially because it is his duty/job to inform Macbeth and to
do as his master wishes, but the servant is also probably motivated by
fear of all the approaching soldiers and desires to warn the king about it
for everyone’s (within the castle) protection.
- The servant has no obstacles that stand
in his way to warning Macbeth, except for Macbeth’s own rudeness and
anger.
- When the servant is confronted by
Macbeth’s anger he becomes even more nervous than he already was, but
still manages to say all that is needed.
- The servant is extremely nervous and
edgy when speaking to Macbeth.
- The servant is most likely thinking
about how big of a jerk Macbeth is, and that something needs to be done
quickly to defend the castle or else they are all going to die.
