Witches
(1,2, and 3): all three witches wore bed-sheets as cloak/dress/robes. Witch 3
sported a walking cane. Macbeth : Macbeth wore a regal black robe with fur lining in order
to signify nobility. He wore khaki pants, shoes, and a t-shirt underneath. Lennox:
Lennox wore a roman helmet to signify his status, and rode an imaginary horse
to show that he came from great distances to deliver Macbeth his message. 1st
Apparition: The first apparition was wearing a lacrosse helmet to signify Òan
armed headÓ 2nd
Apparition: The second apparition wore a jacket with a bloody newborn in the
jacket which was unfolded to signify a C-section birth 3rd
Apparition: The third apparition wore a helmet/crown to signify that it was
BanquoÕs ÒissueÓ, who held a stick which signified the trees that would be
moved when Macbeth was to die. 4th
Apparition: The ghost of Banquo held up a mirror that was mentioned in the
play. (Ghost of Banquo was ÒinvisibleÓ therefore not drawn) |
